And also Leaked codenames for two unreleased iPhone devices, N93 and N94. The current-gen iPhone was codenamed N90 and N92 for the GSM and CDMA variations, respectively.
The next iPhone is expected to look identical to the iPhone 4, only with enhanced hardware, such as a new processor.Reports also claiming that the iPhone 5 could have the same 5 MP camera of the current generation as code strings in the SDK point out. The iPhone 5 was rumored to be set for an 8 MP upgrade. A leaked picture, allegedly depicting the next iPhone’s back plate, confirms that, since the plate looks identical to the one present on the current iPhone, aside from the placement of the camera holes.
While 4G support on the next iPhone is very unlikely, this report confirms once again that the release of a future iPhone is almost confirmed for September this year.
